Dear Club Members,
First, I thank all of our members for their participation in our events. I would like to encourage all members, especially the newer ones, to be even more active, and come to the events. I am sure that you will enjoy them.
I would also encourage all Germans, Americans with a German Background, and those who are interested in the German culture, to visit one of our events, and get to know us. Perhaps you would like to join the club.
The largest German event in Central Virginia is the Richmond Oktoberfest, which is owned by the two Richmond German Clubs, the Deutscher Sportclub (DSC), and the Gesangverein Virginia. This year we will celebrate the 54th annual Oktoberfest, which will be held at the Meadow Event Park, in Doswell on the 20th and 21st of October. We hope to see many of you at the Fest.
